Supply and Installation of Electronic Service Update Boards (ESUBs)
IPS has been awarded this contract by London Underground to supply Electronic Service Update Boards (ESUBs), formerly known as Customer Information Displays (CIDs) across the network. IPS have installed 103 ESUBs to date (May 2010) on the BCV/SSR sections of the network.
These boards will allow passengers to receive real-time information relating to the service on the different tube lines.

Marble Arch Station Modernisation
IPS has been awarded the the design verification, installation, commission and deliver into service of a communications system at Marble Arch underground station.
The works for YJLi (principal contractor for LU Nominee SSL), consist of a Station Management System (SMS), CCTV, Public Address, Clocks, Variable Electronic Information Displays (VEIDs), and of course the complete Station Control Facility.
The design work commenced in March 2009, with rack build and system Factory Acceptance Testing being conducted and completed mid-2009. The on-site works started in December 2009, and has been across multiple phases to meet with the building works programme. On the 24th May 2010 the majority of the system successfully completed LUL assurance and was Brought into Use (BiU). A further phase of building works will allow for the remaining 15% of the station to be installed and the entire system is planned to be operational by the end of September 2010. LUL are also instructing a number of design variations, which are being implemented before the final delivery.
