The station at Wood Lane was the first new station to be built on an existing London Underground line for 70 years. The station is part of the White City development between London Underground and the developer Westfield.
Mechanical Services – this installation comprised of the detailed design, installation, test, commissioning and handover of the station and ancillary areas. The electrical services covered lighting, cable containment, earthing system and power distribution. The communications works included a complete CCTV system of over 75 cameras, intruder alarms, help points, access control and a public address/voice evacuation system (PA/VA). The project also involved the installation of drainage and service supplies and Fire & Life safety systems.
