Installation Project Services (IPS) Ltd was set up in August 1996 by Phil Clayton, Bob Clayton and Chris Helden.

Since 1996 the company has expanded to achieve a turnover of £12m and delivers complex projects on behalf of high-profile customers.

Towards the end of 2009 the Directors identified that a restructure was essential to allow IPS to achieve their objective of a £20m turnover by 2013. Why are the changes taking place? IPS has enjoyed 14 years of successful trading, however the existing management structure was originally designed for a much smaller business and the Directors quickly recognised that a restructure would put the company in the best position to achieve their projected business growth.

Which changes have taken place?

1) A new Senior Management Chart has been launched to double the current sales turnover. The most noticeable changes are the appointment of Martin Franks (General Manager) and our four Projects Directors (Kieran Campbell, Steve Dyer, Simon Sharp & Nigel Hilliard).

2) Work began in April to extend the existing mezzanine floor (due for completion in August 2010). The new office space will accommodate an additional 50 work stations.

3) Internal systems and procedures are being finalised to accommodate the expanding business.
